Meals eaten in good company are definitely the most pleasant ones. The dining space is an uniquely curated area for every family. At Shekina, we strongly believe that a dining table is not only meant as a furniture to place our utensils on but is usually where we would gather to share our thoughts and chit chat.

This table is perfect for Japandi, industrial or Scandinavian interiors.

Suar tree is an Indonesian variant of Albizia Saman, originating in South America. It was introduced to the region in the mid-19th century by Portuguese colonists as a plantation tree. This naturally fast-growing tree has spread throughout the region and is now widely used in the furniture industry. Suar is a large tropical rain tree that can grow to an altitude of 25 metres. The characteristic huge crown has the shape of an umbrella, thanks to which it naturally creates an isolated, cool climate under dense, leafy branches.

All solid wood items in our product range are natural materials and variation in colour, texture and grain is to be expected. Grains, cracks, and knots are natural occurrences and not defects. The unique character of each wood slab means that uniformity, tone or colour throughout the wood surface cannot be guaranteed.

Products by Shekina are the result of the manual work of Asian and African craftsmen, whose craftsmanship is the result of generations of family traditions. Precious materials and proper construction ensure the longevity of this furniture. For the sake of the environment, we manufacture our collections exclusively from timber of legal origin.
